When properly performed, exercise therapy can provide significant functional benefits and improvement to the overall health and well-being of patients. The benefits include (but are not limited to) reduced chance of injury, increased bone, muscle, tendon, and ligament strength, improved joint function, increased metabolism, and improved cardiac function. People who suffer from structural/functional problems are often encouraged by their doctor to “exercise” and “stay flexible”. The problem is, most people are never given the knowledge or the tools to accomplish this safely. Our team at AWG realizes that each patient has specific needs, so individual exercise/strengthening programs are developed for each patient, and their implementation overseen and monitored by our team.
